Dear John:
I have to apologize for it taking me so long to write to you to thank you for the role you played in creating our beautiful new kitchen. Everything is perfect. I can't thank you enough for your patience with me. I know it took me forever to make decisions, and I could not have done it without you. The maple cabinets in toffee were an excellent suggestion and I just love my granite counter tops. I can't express enough how perfect everything is.
In addition to your expertise and kindness, I have to tell you how much we appreciate your greatest recommendation of all. Bob Brendlinger. He was absolutely wonderful to us. Not only was he prompt, always there when he said he would be, not only did he take his time to make sure that we were totally satisfied, not only did he do a beautiful job, he was kind and helpful to me and Jim. It was, needless to say, a very difficult summer for my husband and myself. Bob was always willing to go beyond the call of duty to assist my husband in a task before and after his leg surgery. He was truly kind to us and I feel like we have known him our whole lives. When my father-in-law passed away, I felt so bad for Bob, he was finishing up the kitchen while we sat with the funeral director and made our arrangements. He, I am sure, was uncomfortable to say the least, but he stayed on task and just slipped out the door without disturbing us. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to give him a big hug and thank him for everything he did for us. He is a honest, descent man, unlike any of the horror stories we have heard from other people about contractors they have used.
In closing I would like to just say that we would recommend both you and Bob to everyone and anyone who is in need of remodeling. We could not be happier.
I also would like to invite both you and Bob to come over some evening to see the finished product. I know you wanted Bob to take pictures for you and I know he didn't have the opportunity to do that. Please let me know if that would be possible.

I would recommend Brendlinger Construction to anyone. Bob does everything he says he will. He does it when he says he will, too, and he keeps you up to date during the process.
